The Hamilton Health Sciences Medical Staff Association membership consists of community physicians and hospital physicians affiliated with the following hospitals:
 - Hamilton General Hospital
 - Henderson Hospital
 - Chedoke Hospital
 - McMaster Children's Hospital
 - McMaster University Medical Centre
 - Juravinski Cancer Centre

The Medical Staff Association Executive mandate is to represent the best interests of the Medical Staff Association membership. To accomplish this, the Executive strives to:
 - provide a forum for our common goals
 - facilitate communication, understanding and resolution
 - liaise with Administration to promote positive outcomes
 - base decision-making on the common good
 - promote good will and unity among members
